My little guys take several stages to reach their final form (Dragon Ball Z ref anyone?). They get sketched, made out of clay, baked twice and then painted – Once their evolution is complete, they look nothing like the original sketch, which is a strange combination of exciting and frustrating. This is what they look like after their second baking, when they still haven’t really ‘found themselves’ yet:

What do you guys think, do you prefer working from sketches & notes, or going for your crafty projects head-on? I'd love to hear about your processes!
It's exciting to see the Little Ones evolve and grow an identity - love their colourful and creative hair styles especially!! How about a 'before' and 'after' identity pic?
